As a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, and recipient of the MoD’s bronze award for Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), Viking Arms is honoured to support Armed Forces Day 2022.
Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved.
When?
Flags are raised on Monday 20th June 2022 to begin the celebrations, and the official day is held on Saturday 25th June 2022.
Where?
There are events taking place all across the UK and abroad. Within the North East of England, there are a number of events local to Viking Arms taking place; firstly in Harehills Park, in Leeds and secondly in Leeds City Centre.
So please make sure to show your support, and have a great Armed Forces Day!
